la.my boobs and shoulders are sunburned. one would think such occurances would convince me to resonsider my vehiment loathing of sunscreen and actually wear it when spending large amounts of time out in the sun.but it won't.i got a new project in my lab.rather, i got assigned a new person to work under and her project is really interesting. basically, we take the membrane proteins that comprise PSII out of the plant and put them in solution. Then, we paint this solution onto thin thin pieces of mylar plastic, let it dry and take spectra of it and such. The data that we gather will hopefully give us more insight into how PSII works.i'm stoked about this becasue, apart from being vital and interesting reseasrch, it means that i will get to spend the summer in the cold room preparing samples.grr. i have so much to get done.-call around about my car and see about getting it fixed. (this is a two part endevor as the check engine light is on AND someone who was breaking into cars in my apartment complex jimmied my lock loose. then, the lock got stolen/lost. so, i need to get that fixed. ironic, no? anybody have any suggestions as to where to get a newish VW beetle serviced?)-clean my apartment.-write a paper about identity. that should be easy enough. I have two good ideas. i'm most likly going to talk about how physical appearance creates certain preconcieved notions. about the person.-get my hair chopped off. it is beginning to annoy me. hrm...this sounds like WAY more then it actually is.i WILL get it all done.
